Ingredients

Scale

Protein & Sauce

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Cheeses

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Pasta & Liquid

  • 810 uncooked no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup water or broth

Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the Meat: Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode, add a bit of oil, and brown your ground beef or turkey with garlic and onions until fully cooked and fragrant. This builds a flavorful base for your lasagna.
  2. Layer the Sauce and Noodles: Turn off sauté mode and layer your uncooked lasagna noodles over the meat. Spread marinara sauce evenly on top, followed by dollops of ricotta cheese, a generous sprinkle of mozzarella, and a dash of Parmesan. Repeat the layering to create several cheesy, saucy layers right in the pot.
  3. Add Liquid and Pressure Cook: Pour water or broth around the edges of the lasagna to help steam the noodles. Seal your Instant Pot, select the manual or pressure cook function, and set it for about 20 minutes.
  4. Quick Release and Rest: Once cooking is complete, use the quick release function to vent the pressure, then let your lasagna sit for a few minutes before opening to help it set and enhance the flavors.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Carefully scoop out servings using a big spoon or spatula, making sure to get all those layers of melted cheese, sauce, and tender noodles. Garnish as desired and enjoy your cozy, cheesy meal.

Notes

  • Use no-boil noodles for perfect absorption and to save time.
  • Don’t overfill the Instant Pot; leave space for sauce bubbles and even cooking.
  • Layer generously with sauce and cheese for the best melty texture.
  • Allow lasagna to rest after cooking to firm up for easier serving.
  • Top with fresh basil or parsley to add a bright, fresh finish.
